Juan Soto’s Social Media Breadcrumbs Reassure Yankees Faithful of His Commitment

There’s one love story that all the fans in the Bronx want to work out. The Juan Soto – New York Yankees love saga. While there is a lot of uncertainty around the subject of a contract extension, there might be some signs available to pick up on. It was not too long ago when the star slugger said, “I was really comfortable up there(Washington).” However, his recent pro-NYY hints are a far cry from his past praise of Washington. Has the allure of the Yankees finally gotten to him?

Well, it appears that the 25-year-old has gotten along well with his new teammates and fans love it. But it is the fans who would be heartbroken if Soto doesn’t stick around in the Bronx beyond the 2024 season. For those anxious about this uncertain reality, there might be some good news. 

Do Juan Soto’s Hints Mean Something?

Getting straight to the hints the left fielder is dropping, Soto’s latest one among the others is his Instagram story. He posted a couple of pictures he clicked “..playing as the Yankees with his pinstripe inspired controller while using the anthem from the Yankees last World Series run..“And the best part is yet to come. 

If you look closely at Soto’s screen, on the top left, it says “favorite team”. Does this mean that he’s never leaving New York? To answer this question, we must segue into another anecdote when he mentioned what he loved about New York. 

Yet another instance where the Dominican was struck by the city and its vibes was early in December at the All Star Game. His words were, “The crowd is incredible, all of the things they yell at you. When you go there, how they support you and they boo you at the same time, it’s crazy.” Again, could this mean his sentiments toward the Big Apple are strong enough to consider an extension?

New York Yankees Fans Go Bonkers Over Soto’s Story

Fans are never been so enthusiastic about answering this question. While some were struck by how much Soto loves the Yanks, there were others who couldn’t help but predict whether he’d stay in the Bronx or not. 

One fan said, “He’s never leaving ☺️”

Another fan shared a similar emotion making demands from Brian Cashman. 

While some remained optimistic about him being in the Bronx, the likelihood of him joining the New York Mets persists. 

In the mix of guessing whether it’s going to be Yankees or Mets, there were other comments indicating something entirely different. 

More comments came in about the video game itself. 

While the question still remains unanswered whether he would continue being in the Bronx or not, one thing is for sure.
