In a Tweet, Hoch said, “Jose Trevino has been out with a right wrist sprain. Aaron Boone said Trevino is expected to resume playing later this week, though an injection remains possible. Boone said he expects Trevino will be ready for Opening Day. #yankees”. This is not the best news as fans expected him to be healthy for the season.
But fans have had mixed reactions to the update on Trevino’s injury. Many of them simply do not believe he will be ready to start the season and are distraught.
Some fans expressed devastation and frustration at Trevino’s injury.

Wrist injuries are tricky. How many times these past few seasons have we seen players with wrist injuries suddenly take a dive at the plate. As if things couldnt get any worse… comcerning that the opening day lineup may actually be worse than the team that was swept in the ALCS.

Wonderful. Can't wait for the announcement over the weekend that he's going on the IL when they assume nobody is paying attention.

The Yankees are trying out different fielding placements
With a shortage of players in multiple positions and struggling veterans in others, the New York Yankees are experimenting. The team is trying out Aaron Judge in left field, a position he has not played since college. They are also reportedly going to try to play Isiah Kiner-Falefa at the center field position.
