Most recently, Guardians infielder Jose Ramirez revealed his love for chains while talking about how many he had in his collection. This was during an interview with baseball content creators Bat Boys who shared it on Instagram. When asked how many chains he has in his collection, Ramirez said, “Like 15 chains”. Furthermore, he said that he’s worn 3 chains at the same time.

This was a candid interview with the star infielder as he openly talked about his chain collection.

But Ramirez can well afford his 15 chains, as the midfielder is on a $141 million deal with the Guardians. It is the highest-paid contract in franchise history. But although Ramirez is a star, he does not forget his fans. Earlier this year, he surprised young fans with a thoughtful gesture.
Ramirez left money on the table to re-sign with the Guardians
Jose Ramirez was eligible for free agency last year. He signed with the Guardians on a mammoth $141 million deal thus becoming the player with the highest contract in franchise history. But he left bigger contracts on the table to do so. According to reports, there were teams willing to pay up to $200 million for his signature. But the star infielder was content to take less money and stay in Cleveland.
