The 2023 season has inched a step closer to the ultimate battle with Texas Rangers winning the ALCS. They defeated the Houston Astros with a score of 11-4 to win the American League pennant after over a decade. Though it was a complete team effort, the name of Adolis Garcia has shined the brightest, all thanks to his involvement in the field.

Notably, the right fielder has been the power source behind the Texas Rangers. His scoring prowess has been better than everyone, especially in the last two games. However, it seems the situation could have been different had Bryan Abreu not engaged with Garcia. Although his action benefitted the Astros last time out, the move has fallen back since game six, with Adolis creating postseason records and helping the team succeed.

The Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia has dominated the last two games of the ALCS. After helping his team equalize the series, the right fielder delivered in the second game for a memorable victory.

The 30-year-old from Cuba hammered the Astros for fun. He scored two home runs and five RBIs to finish, with an average of 0.800 and an OPS of 2.800, adding more to his already impressive postseason numbers.

Notably, García has demonstrated his proficiency in power-hitting to claim ten runs, 17 hits, and seven HRs. He also has a postseason record of 15 RBIs, including 10 against the Astros, making it feel that he loves hitting against the Stars.

Jomboy Media also shared a perspective on this with a post that read, “Adolis Garcia is embarrassing the Astros.” Though it related to his latest performances, but also hinted towards the backstory that probably propelled Garcia to prove himself right.

It happened after his faceoff with the Astros’ Jose Abreu, which led to a bench-clearing incident and multiple ejections. After this, the Rangers lost the game, nullifying Garcia’s effort.

From the result, it seemed the action from Abreu benefitted the Astros. However, that has changed. Taling the clue from his approach, Adolis has added more to his offense, punishing the Stars, once again looking for another World Series battle. It also makes one wonder: what would have happened if Abreu had not fueled Garcia with his actions? Could it have been a different story? Do you think so? Let us know your side in the comments.
