During the second game of the series, the Rangers lost because of a botched overturned call that went against them. Catcher Jonah Heim tagged out White Sox’s Elvis Andrus at home plate. But a replay incorrectly overturned the call and awarded the run, resulting in a Texas loss. Most recently, Heim celebrated his home run in the series decider with the challenge motion, mocking the umpires. He was able to get his revenge as the Rangers secured a 6-3 victory and the series win. FOX Sports: MLB shared a video of the moment on Twitter.

In the Tweet, they said, “Last night, Jonah Heim got called for a catcher’s violation. Tonight, he hit a home run and did the challenge motion during his home run trot.” This was a savage way for Heim to get his revenge on the officials and express displeasure at the call.

The reactions to the celebration have been in favor of the Rangers catcher.

Some fans are in awe of the savage celebration.

Other fans called for Heim to be named an All-Star.

Heim’s 3-run bomb took the Rangers to 6 runs and helped them ensure the victory. Although it may not make up for the incorrectly overturned call, the catcher got his revenge. Furthermore, this is not the first time this month that the Texas-based team is on the wrong side of an umpire’s call.

The Rangers faced three ejections earlier this month because of an umpire’s call

It was the seventh inning, and Rangers infielder Marcus Semien was at the plate. Los Angeles Angels pitcher Chris Devenski threw a low changeup, but Semien checked his swing. The umpire disregarded that and ruled him out. When protesting the call, Semien was ejected, closely followed by his pitching coach Mike Maddux and manager Bruce Bochy. It was a crucial moment that cost the Rangers three ejections and the game, as they lost 5-3 from there.
