St. Louis Cardinals President of Baseball Operations announces trade reality

The Cardinals are one team that has experienced an unexpected fall this season. After topping the NL East last year, they are now at the bottom of their division and seemingly out of the playoff picture. Now it appears that they will enter the trade market. During a recent interview, Cardinals President of Baseball Operations John Mozeliak revealed he will look to make some trades. But he did not reveal which players he will make moves with, leaving even his best stars on the table. MLB Insider Chris Kirschner shared the news via Twitter. 

In a Tweet, Kirschner said, “Cardinals president of baseball ops John Mozeliak in the interview below: ‘Right now, I can tell you we’re going to trade people. I just don’t know if it’s going to be household names or more of guys who are just not likely to be here next year.’”
