The process for the 2024 MLB season has started. Multiple teams have changed their coaching staffs and are adding the best personalities to guide them. The New York Mets, a team with all the resources and money, is following the same philosophy and has made the latest move confirming the same.

Given that it was a poor 2023 season for the Mets, after spending the highest money, they needed changes. It all started with the change in the manager and the hiring of Carlos Mendoza. They have added more experience to the coaching squad by signing a veteran for a positive change in the bid to win the championship.

John Gibbons to Join the New York Mets as a Bench Coach

Handling a bench is also a big role in the MLB. The Mets have understood and have changed the system to make it happen.
