Grappling with one of the worst seasons, the New York Yankees hit a low in their last game. In their ongoing series against the Oakland Athletics, the Aaron Boone-led team has already lost the first game. The win for the Athletics couldn’t have come at a better time, considering their ongoing protests to stop the team from moving bases. The Yanks, on the other hand, lost to the team having the lowest score of the season. Somehow, this series opener turned out to be a moment of realization for both the fan bases.

This is because last night’s win boosted A’s fans’ confidence amidst the ongoing protest following a successful “Reverse Boycott” a few days ago. At the same time, the injury-riddled roster of the Yankees made fans realize that things have gone too far. Hence, they sincerely asked the management to sell the team to regain their champion reputation.?

Will Judge returning change things for the Yanks?

Considering that there is still no timeline for Judge to be back from the IL, there’s a low chance for the team to bounce back from where they are right now. What was supposed to be a ten-day injured list became a month-long one without any return date.?

On the other hand, the A’s are progressing in their protests against franchise owner John Fisher and MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred. Neither team’s fate is fixed right now. Only time will tell what will happen next for both franchises!
