And last night was one of those moments when DJ announced the birth of his son, Kaius Green Jeter.
However, minutes after announcing such big news in his life, Jeter returned to his original role, who shares only work-related specialties on his social media. Yes! Just after announcing the birth of his first son, Derek Jeter announced three big names for the upcoming event of the Turn 2 Foundation, Derek Jeter Invitational Gala.

Once again, the 5x World Series Champ used his Instagram to announce the addition of three celebrities to the iconic event. DJ reposted the stories posted by the official Instagram handle of the Derek Jeter Turn 2 Foundation. Which announced big names from both the sporting world and the entertainment world.
At first, Jeter welcomed the singer, actor, and TV personality, Joey Fatone. Joey is best known as the once member of the boy band NSYNC, where he sang baritone. After Joey came, former Major League Baseball player Tanyon Sturtze. He played three seasons for the New York Yankees at the same time as Captain Clutch did. Then Jeter announced the addition of actor and comedian Chris Tucker. The fifty-one-year-old is famous for him getting nominated and winning awards for his work in the Rush Hour franchise.

It’s been almost a month since Jeter announced the event, and from that moment, he hasn’t stopped promoting the same for longer than a few minutes. Nothing could stop him, not even the birth of his fourth child.

Derek invited his long-time friend for a major role at the event!
Every event needs an emcee who introduces guests, speakers, or performers at an event. And Derek knew that he already had the perfect person for the job near him. And that would be his long-time friend, popular radio show host Angie Martinez.

For those unversed, the Gala is now less than a week away. It is set to be on just a day before Mother’s Day, May 13th. Like every other event of Turn 2, proceeds from this one would go towards the benefit of more and more under-deserved children.
