Jennifer Lopez Once Likened Hers and Ex-fiance Alex Rodriguez Lives to Her $72 Million Movie: “We Just Try to Be..”

Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez have been in the public eye for more than two decades now. They had to learn how to deal with publicity. When they came together as a couple, the exposure they had to face increased by ten folds. However, when they were together, A-Rod and JLo knew how to deal with all the media attention, especially as a couple.

Even after knowing how to deal with the limelight, there may have been a time when the two could have found it hard to deal with everything going on in their lives. In an interview about her movie “Second Act,” JLo talked about how she and Alex dealt with everything and how Alex got used to the public’s attention.

The movie “Second Act” got released in December 2018, and during an interview at the time, Jennifer was asked whether she and Alex used to deal with the publicity and scrutiny together. Replying to this question, JLo said since both of them have been in the public eye for nearly two decades, and both have dealt with such situations very often.

“We just try to be the best we can…both had long careers, we’ve both been under a lot of scrutinies. We both had moments that were amazing we’ll have moments that were very difficult,” said Lopez. 

Then she continued to talk about how they had helped each other through the tough moments and dealt with it just like in her $72 million movie ‘Second Act’.

How does Jennifer’s movie resonate with the couple?

In the movie, the actress lost her job to a college graduate. Then, she went on a mission to prove street smart is still a smart and right person for the job. While trying to do so, she needed to make some changes in her life. She needed to evolve, grow up a little, and identify her goal.

JLo said that they grew up and evolved together as a couple. They figured out how to be better parents, and better humans because that’s their goal. However, A-Rod and JLo called it quit after dating for over four years.
