A father plays an invaluable role in his kid’s life. Hence, a day is set aside to honor, appreciate, and celebrate the unwavering love and guidance of fathers everywhere. Everyone had their own way of celebrating just passed special Father’s Day. While everyone around the world was celebrating this special day, how could baseball legends and Hollywood divas such as Jennifer Lopez stay behind? She joined several MLB legends in commemorating the day.

The pop icon, her ex-fiance Alex Rodriguez, Mike Trout, and Derek Jeter‘s sister Sharlee celebrated this occasion with their fans. Hence, taking to their social media handles, Jlo joined A-Rod and others to honor her father. 

Jennifer Lopez sure knows how to do it!

Taking to her Instagram handle, which has almost 250 million fans, Lopez shared an adorable all-smiles picture with her father. In the picture, the father-daughter duo can be seen taking a selfie, and Jennifer captioned it, “Happy Father’s Day,” followed by “I love you Daddy.”  Not only her, LA Angels put up a post on their Instagram containing Father’s Day celebration moments of their players.

A couple of hours before, JLo celebrated the moment, LA Angels celebrated it by posting messages from their players. Within the post was Mike Trout, who paid tribute to his father- and father-in-law and expressed his emotions about being a father to his son. How could her ex-fiance be left behind in sharing the special moments of the day?

On the other hand, former Yankees Alex Rodriguez posted some unseen pictures with his daughters, with a special message that read, “Being a father is one of the greatest joys of my life. I am so proud of my two beautiful daughters and the women they are becoming. Happy Fathers Day! ❤️.”

Although MLB great Derek Jeter did not post anything on this year’s Father’s Day, his younger sister Sharlee did but something extra and special.

She celebrated her father and brother with a picture of the two of them smiling. With the picture, she wrote, “Happy Fathers Day to these two amazing men. I love you both very much!” 

Derek Jeter paid tribute to his father!

Derek’s father played a vital role in him becoming a baseball legend. When the athlete got awarded the prestigious accolade of all, he paid a special tribute to his father. On the momentous occasion of Father’s Day, Jeter’s athleisure brand, Greatness Wins, revived Jeter’s Hall of Fame speech tribute to his father.

Thanking his father, Jeter said, “Dad, you’ve been the voice of reason. You taught me to be patient, listen, and think before I speak. You’ve always been there for advice, and to this day, you’re the first person I go to. I know when you were tired, playing every game with me. I remember you time to time telling me, keep building that resume, and look where it gotten us today.”

Jeter is popularly known to be a private person. But that does not mean he does not appreciate the people in his life. He might prefer to do it without the eyes of the media over him.
