Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez’s Adorable Engagement Earned Them a Fan in Miley Cyrus Among Several Others in 2019

Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez’s engagement was one of the biggest news in the world of glitterati in 2019. It was thus a big step in the romantic venture of a stellar couple. Stalwarts in their respective professions, Rodriguez and Lopez were a prime-time glamorous pair. As the news of their engagement spread like wildfire, noteworthy personalities got in line to send their wishes.

Among some frontline celebrities sending their best wishes to the starry couple was pop music sensation Miley Cyrus. Dating from 2017 onwards, A-Rod proposed to Lopez during a trip. The celebrity couple was on a romantic vacation to the Bahamas at the time. As Lopez accepted Rodriguez’s proposal, he gave her an expensive engagement ring. Following on, the couple publicized their engagement on social media, and congratulatory notes followed in.

Alex Rodriguez put all speculations to rest after he put a diamond ring on Jennifer Lopez’s finger. The precious piece of jewelry had cost him $4.5 million. By sharing an image of the diamond ring on their respective Instagram accounts, the couple made a public statement. While Lopez put up heart emoticons on her post, Rodriguez wrote in his post, quoting, “She said yes.”

Fans as well as friends of the MLB legend and the pop megastar got overjoyed at the news. Therefore, Cyrus joined a list of celebrity figures to wish Rodriguez and Lopez through an Instagram post. Miley shared an image of a scene from one of Lopez’s films to wish the couple. In her jubilant post, Miley wrote, “Congrats Queen JLO. Celebrating I do.”

When talking Miley, the award-winning pop star got married to world-renowned actor Liam Hemsworth in 2018. But the couple broke up in 2019 and got officially divorced in 2020. The reason behind their split got cited as irreconcilable differences.
