Christmas is a time for joy, family, and a lot of gifts. This applies to even baseball fans. And for a baseball fan, there can not be a better gift than getting a signed jersey of their favorite baseball player or team. One young Miami Marlins fan got both in one gift this Christmas and was extremely excited about the same.

The young fan was presented with a Marlins jersey to represent his favorite team. What made it even more special was the fact that his favorite player’s name was imprinted on the back of the jersey. 

A young MLB fan received a Jazz Chisholm Jr. jersey for Christmas and he was ecstatic

The young Miami Marlins fan had received a Jazz Chisholm Jr jersey for Christmas and could not control his happiness. In addition to the jersey, the father also bought tickets to see a Marlins game as well.

The boy’s father shared the video on Twitter and said, “@j_chisholm3 got my son a @Marlins shirt with your name on it for Christmas and will making a trip to PNC Park in September to watch both his favorite team and his favorite player – tickets are right next to the visitors dugout I think he was just a little excited😆”

The tweet has garnered many positive reactions and comments. But among those reactions is that of none other than Chisholm Jr. himself.

Chisholm Jr was once compared to Dennis Rodman. For those unversed, Rodman is one of the most successful yet controversial former NBA stars. The Miami Marlins player is a young star who has a lot of potentials to grow. He was showing some of that potential in 2022.

Chisholm Jr. showed a lot of promise in 2022

Jazz Chisholm Jr. had a great 2022 season and was named to the All-Star game. He was just the 6th Marlins player to be voted to the All-Star game by fans. But unfortunately, that potential didn’t have a chance to blossom as he suffered from a back injury that shut down his season.

Furthermore, the Marlins decided to give him the time to recover and come back in 2023 fully healthy. Chisholm Jr. has been resting and recovering during the holidays and many will hope to see him fully healthy in 2023.
