Jazz Chisholm Jr. burst out onto the grand stage of baseball in 2020 with the Miami Marlins and since then, with his characteristic bold and flashy personality, has brewed a firestorm in the world of sports. The young phenom has already made his presence felt in the ballpark as well as in the virtual ballpark of MLB the Show 23 as the cover star. As if that wasn’t enough, Chisholm has now signed with Jordan Brand.

The 25-year-old missed most of the last season with a back injury but has come back with a blast by becoming the 5th player to sign with the brand. He always had a love for Jordans over the four years of his career and wasn’t shy about showing it. Now that he is officially a member of the Jordan family, it seems like he has hit yet another milestone in his life.

From wearing the most marvelous cleats to the ballpark to becoming the fifth MLB athlete to have signed with the Jordan Brand, Jazz Chisholm Jr. is making a comeback! Following New York Yankees Aaron Judge, LA Dodgers Mookie Betts, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. of the Jays, and Derek Jeter, the young star is also the first of Bahamian descent to be signed to the iconic brand of the NBA great Michael Jordan. 

The athlete has been a brand ambassador for Nike and now his ascension to Jordan Brand has come as a dream come true for Chisholm. According to bleacherreport.com, “It means everything to me. You know, I’m always the guy that never really wanted to do the same thing as people, I always wanted to be one of a few, you know, I mean not one of many, so it’s great that this is what I always wanted and this is what I’m glad to be a part of.”

The slugger’s love for sneakers knows no bounds 

For the 2023 regular season, Jazz Chisholm Jr. has been shifted from second base to center field. The Miami Marlins might have shifted him there on account of his back injury, which it seems like he has healed from.

In a recent Instagram update of his, where he is seen slugging balls in batting practice while sporting an Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG. The sneakerhead’s love for rare sneakers doesn’t end there. He has been spotted rocking Air Jordan 12 Retro during official games and the slugger is sure to continue wearing new Jordans in the games that lie ahead.
