Aaron Judge made his debut on a crucial day. The 1996 Championship team, which added to the Yankees’ beautiful past, surrounded him. As they bid adieu to the game. It was the chance for newcomers to shine. Judge made sure he got the tag of that star. The book, Aaron Judge: The Incredible Story of the New York Yankees’ Home Run–Hitting Phenom, talks about this incident in detail.

He added, “The teammates hammered back-to-back home runs in their first at-bats in the second inning to give New York a 2–0 lead. Austin and Judge became the first teammates to hit home runs in their first major league at-bats in the same game.” It was certainly a big day for the California-born.
