The Yankees? outfield has suffered severe injury this year, including Giancarlo Stanton and Harrison Bader’s, who both missed large chunks of the season. Aaron Judge is still injured, with a return inching closer. Most recently, the team?s outfield depth took another hit as Jake Bauers may end up on the injured list. He hurt his shoulder while making a diving play during a game against the Orioles. MLB insider Bryan Hoch shared an update on the injury via Twitter.?

In a Tweet, Hoch said, ?Jake Bauers has a bruised rotator cuff and received a cortisone injection. He will likely be placed on the IL.? This makes things difficult for the team as Stanton is still not playing in the outfield full-time. Furthermore, Bader is also at risk of getting hurt again due to his recent injury history.?

Jake’s batting has provided their lineup with much-needed impact. But with recent injury the matters have taken a turn making Yankees’ outfield options short. Although fans want to see him return, Judge?s comeback is on everyone?s mind.?

Despite ruling out surgery in recent days, the details surrounding Aaron Judge and his return remain unclear. He has resumed baseball activity in some form, by playing catch and, the most recent, long tossing. But it looks like it may be some time before he returns. Judge is missing the All-Star game and looks likely to miss more time after that. The Bombers are keeping the details to themselves as their captain works hard to return.?
