When asked which 2 people he would like to have dinner with during his recent podcast appearance, A-Rod had an interesting answer.

During a recent appearance on the Money Maze Podcast, Rodriguez talked about a lot of different topics, such as his career and investments. One of the questions he was asked was who he would like to have dinner with if he had the chance. A-Rod thought for a couple of minutes before saying that he’d probably choose someone who is already dead. He then said that he’d have dinner with Jackie Robinson or Roberto Clemente.

Rodriguez said, “I would like to say someone that’s not even alive, probably Jackie Robinson and Roberto Clemente”. The former Yankee star picked two absolute legends of the game in Robinson and Clemente. There are very few picks that could have beaten these two baseball legends.

Seeing that A-Rod is a legendary figure, he has probably met a lot of interesting people in his life. This makes it even more interesting that he picked these two MLB legends. While on the podcast, Rodriguez also talked about buying the Minnesota Timberwolves. The former Yankee star bought the Minnesota Timberwolves last year and recently paid the second installment in the deal. Along with it, A-Rod and Marc Lore got another 20% ownership. But the pair still have to pay the third installment. 

When is the third installment due for the Minnesota Timberwolves deal?

According to David Scott of the New York Post, Alex Rodriguez and Marc Lore have until 31st December 2023 to make the third and final payment. This gives the duo more than enough time to decide what they want to do.

Furthermore, it also gives them enough time to gather the money. By buying the Timberwolves, Rodriguez has fulfilled his dream of becoming a team owner.
