Major League Baseball has been using its huge platform to give back to the community. With their venture MLB Together, the league has teamed up with non-profits to make an impact as well as raise awareness about major issues. One of them is mental health and Mike Trout is helping out this year.

The Angels’ center fielder recently revealed through social media posts that he will be a Mental Wellness Ambassador for this special platform. When Trout posted a clip of himself announcing the news on Twitter, fans commented about their own struggles. And Trout, ever the supporter, responded to him.

Others also shared their own experiences and Trout wrote back to some of them.

Many thanked him for taking on this humongous task.
