Aaron Judge has been out since June 4th with a sprained big right toe. In that time, the Yankees have struggled to score runs and win games. But the team recently shared a positive update on their $360 million franchise star, but fans are unhappy. MLB insider Bryan Hoch recently shared that Judge has started pool, balance, and strength work. Furthermore, Yankees manager Aaron Boone reportedly expects the star outfielder to start throwing and doing light hitting later this week. Hoch shared this update via Twitter.

In a Tweet, Hoch said, “Aaron Judge has advanced to pool/balance/strength work, Aaron Boone said. They hope he can resume throwing and possibly light hitting by the end of this week.” This is positive progress for the New York-based MLB team. But a concrete return date is still unknown.

Fans want to know when Judge is coming back, as the Bronx Bombers struggle without him. Earlier in the season, he made a quick comeback from a worrisome hip injury.

Judge made a rapid return earlier this season

In late April, Aaron Judge suffered a hip strain that left fans and experts worried. But the star outfielder made a return in 2 weeks and played some of his best baseball in May. At the time, it was a worrying injury and there were thoughts that he may miss many games. But he stayed focused and played some sensational baseball after returning in May to win the Player of the Month award. Fans will hope that he returns to the team in a similar form soon.
