The role of a manager and coach is to show support and flight for the team. Showalter did this after umpires did not take notice of an incident, and the rule went against the Mets. Showalter’s argument was against Wil Myers regarding interference during the play. The Mets in charge argued with the umpires. The SNY shared the clip of the incident on its Twitter handle.
