But most recently, he opened up about how his perception of winning has changed since his pre-suspension days. Rodriguez mentioned that what he considered winning then is very different from what he considers winning today. The Yankee legend opened up about his career and other topics on the Club30 Podcast.
During the podcast, Rodriguez said, “When I thought about winning back pre-suspension, it was about contracts, it was about nice suits, it was about women, it was about cars, nonsense. When I think about winning today, it’s about my daughters, it’s about gratitude, it’s about collaborating with great people and having other people on my team succeed, and how can I be a mentor to them?”

His priorities today are not the same as they were during his career. That is why his definition of winning has changed as well. But Rodriguez succeeded both during his baseball career and as a businessman today. This is due to his thirst for knowledge and willingness to explore a variety of ideas and avenues for investment.
