And recently, a day before his Hall of Fame tribute in the Bronx, Jeter opened up about the experience when he got inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Recently, while talking to YES Network, Jeter opened up about the experience of delivering an iconic speech in Cooperstown. Notably, apart from his Hall of Fame induction, Jeter’s speech was also a thing of beauty.
The former Yankees captain said it was a surreal and one of the most special moments in his entire MLB career.
“It was a surreal experience. I mean, you don’t never know the emotions you are gonna feel. But standing on that stage with everyone that has helped along the way in front of you and then you have all the greatest players who have ever played the game behind you; It can be intimidating and definitely without question one of the most special moments I have had in my career,” Derek Jeter said.
