Major League Baseball is one of the oldest major professional sports leagues in the world. It has fans passionate enough that watching the game in the ballpark is not sufficient. Hence, when MLB is going through its offseason, one fan took matters into her own hand and aced her play.
However, sometimes, passion can get one into a wee bit of trouble. Something similar happened to what seems like a couple enjoying their night while playing virtual baseball. And to top their moment, it seemed like ace sportscaster John Sterling’s words might do justice to their hit.
A night that was supposed to be fun turned into a tragedy that resonated with fans offering quick fixes for the couple’s problem.

How did a comment from John Sterling resonate with the couple and fans?
Taking to Twitter, Jomboy Media recently shared a video of a couple who just moved into their new house and were having a night of fun with what looks like virtual baseball. The woman in the video was hitting. While doing so, she did not have the strap on her wrist connected to the controller. As a result, the moment she gave a swing, the controller flew from her hand and got stuck into the wall beside the television.
And the way Yankees’ sportscaster John Sterling says every time a Yankee hits a homer, Jomboy Media quoted, “It is high. It is far. And that security deposit is GONE”. Following are some of the reactions by the fans who took their time enjoying the hit and also advising with fixes.

While many gave suggestions on how to repair the hole in the wall, others warned her that from stopping this from happening, people wear wristbands. Meanwhile, there were many who did not forget to mention the amazing left swing she had and appreciated her for it.

When did Sterling start saying this quote?
Known for his catchy home run announcements, Sterling starts the majority of home runs start the same way: “It is high, it is far, it is gone!” However, the fun begins after that.

John Sterling has been the radio voice of the New York Yankees since 1989. From that time, although he hadn’t planned, he still gave a different announcement for different players. It started with a simple “Bern baby Bern” when Bernie Williams hit a home run. For Alex Rodriguez, it was, “an A-bomb for A-Rod,” and for Aaron Judge, it is, “A judgian blast! All rise, here comes the Judge.”
