Derek Jeter played Major League Baseball for 20 years, establishing himself as one of the greatest to do so. During his time in New York, Jeter experienced 3 different decades, the 90s, the 2000s, and the 2010s as a player.

But no matter what era it was, fans loved the legendary Yankee shortstop, and he remained a fan favorite all through his playing years. Jeter recently opened up on playing for the Yankees in the 90s and early 2000s, describing it with fondness.
