While playing in MLB, road trips bring a lot of excitement for the players due to the energy and pressure involved in playing at a different ballpark. But sometimes the road trips can be scary, and MLB legend Derek Jeter has shared one such experience. It seems to be the case with the Los Angeles Dodgers Mookie Betts but from a different angle.
Betts did something strange and unique on the recent road trip to Milwaukee. It has caught the attention of everyone in the sports fraternity. What exactly has happened? Here is the answer!

This news is certainly unusual. Why would a player leave his teammates to avoid a hotel? But the answer is not simple as it is. It happened because the player wanted to stay away from Milwaukee’s haunted Pfister Hotel. Talkin Baseball shared this story on their Twitter account with the caption, “Mookie Betts rented an Airbnb to avoid staying in Milwaukee’s haunted Pfister Hotel.”

It added, “He’s stayed there in the past and said he “couldn’t sleep” as per @billplunkettocr.”
The Pfister Hotel was started in 1893 and is over a century-old historical place. But not the first time this hotel is in the news because of such spooky claims by an MLB player. Phillies Star Bryce Harper also made similar claims. According to MLB.com, Harper had claimed, he awoke to his clothes on the floor.
“When I woke up in the morning, I swear on everything, the clothes were on the floor, and the table was on the opposite side of the room against the wall, Harper said. “I was so flustered…honestly thought there might be someone in my room. I had no idea what the hell just happened, so I actually looked around, and then I checked to see if the door was still latched, and it was.”
Fans have their points on this haunted hotel story!
Baseball fans shared how they could know more about the claims. Few fans embarked on it as a beautiful hotel and had no problem staying there. And few fans shared there was negative energy at the Hotel. Though few also joked that it is because of his eating.
is it cause he eats corn the long way?

Unlike Mookie, fans had some unique experiences while staying at the same hotel. They even shared their experiences, replying to the same tweet.
My husband stayed there once and had no issues. 🤷♀️

The Fans have their own experiences with the story. But as the players are there for a crucial game, a sound sleep before the contest is always the priority. Will other team players follow the same suit? Only time will tell that.
