Teams like although, teams like the New York Mets, and New York Yankees have qualified for the postseason games, they are yet to win their respective divisions. Keeping the games aside recently, random people with creepy smiles have been attending the recent MLB games.

Not many MLB fans might be aware of this, but the renowned film-making company Paramount has found a new way to promote their upcoming film “Smile.” And it seems like this campaign to promote their film is working very well for them. Not to forget that even the NBA superstar LeBron James had also shared footage of the same on Instagram.

People with creepy smiles steal the show in the recent MLB games

Per TMZ.com, this was the third appearance of such a random person with a creepy and scary smile in MLB games. It started with the Yankees v/s Red Sox and Dodgers v/s Cardinals, and now the recent incident is from the Mets v/s Oakland Athletics.

The TMZ report also confirmed that “Smile” is an upcoming horror film, and its producers are running this campaign to promote their movie on a large scale.

Taking to Twitter, MLB fans also shared their reactions on the same. One fan even credited the film producers for choosing the right person who could pull attention with their smile.

Another MLB fan said that the girl is just happy because she got a front-row seat at the Athletics game. Notably, Oakland Athletics played a party popper for the Mets on Saturday and stunned the NL East leaders with a stunning win.

When talking about the game, the Mets have only a two-game lead over their division rivals, the Atlanta Braves. And given the ongoing regular season is about to end, the Buck Showalter-led team would not want to lose the division at such a crucial stage.
