But soon, rumors to rest when Kate Upton started dating Dancing with the Stars pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy. But that period of courtship didn’t last long. Having a child has clearly changed the perspective of life for them. The 31-year-old mother shared in a 2020 appearance on Today, “Everything I do is for her. Wanting to make the world better for her, wanting to be better for her, wanting to be with her more; it’s really just changed everything.” And Genevieve’s father couldn’t be more proud of the ladies in his life. But apart from being a great mother, Upton also has a larger purpose in life which she tends to do through her altruistic approaches.

Beyond the Cameras: Kate Upton’s Guide to Philanthropy
A few of her notable initiatives were during the COVID-19 pandemic. Kate Upton, along with the MLB star Justin Verlander, announced that they would be donating a part of their weekly paycheck during the MLB shutdown in order to help coronavirus relief organizations. This was not their only philanthropic gesture.
Back in 2014, the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge surfaced as a viral sensation that aimed at creating awareness and raising funds for ALS research. This was also commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
