It has put them in a dilemma of keeping Francisco Alvarez in the squad. According to SNY Mets, players have confirmed the pitching staff’s unhappiness with this move. They shared, ” One Mets pitcher suggested that if the team options Francisco ?lvarez, the pitching staff ‘will be angry.'”?

It has come after the reports of the recovery of Omar Narvaez and Tomas Nido. Both the players were part of the original squad but have missed games because of injuries. Now the management wants to have them back on the roster with Alvarez moving out.
