And Anthony Volpe has become another player to do so. He showed this skill with a crucial throw that helped the Yankees win the game. He did it in a 5-4 win against the Astros. The Yankees official Twitter also reflected on it. And similar was the reaction from Yankees skipper Aaron Boone.

He praised Volpe and said, “You gotta step on it and he took a page out of his guy’s book. Jetes was this guy, so I’m sure he’s seen that a lot in his mind and in his dreams. And it was a really good play with a good runner, but he continues to just be super special on defense force.”

Notably, it came as a reference to the Jeter. A Twitter user reflected on it with a caption, “Volpe learned from the best.” It reflected the Fans’ emotions who were happy over Volpe’s overall contribution.

Anthony Volpe has done well in the last few games by shining with his bat and also doing a great job in the field. In the last five appearances, Volpe has four runs, four RBIs, and two HRs.
