During the summit, the CEO of A-Rod Corp said, “If you think about who can capture the audience, its live sports. What sport is, it’s an opportunity. The real business is around the media, gaming, merchandise, real estate – but sports also bring everyone together from a political point of view. In a world that is so divided, it brings people together.”

Despite the mistakes that A-Rod has made in his career, he is considered to be one of the best in entire baseball. And there were many who used to come and see Alex play. The resilience he learned from baseball is what helped him to become who he is today, a multimillionaire business magnate.

How did A-Rod become the business icon?

The moment Alex decided that he wanted to play baseball, he also decided that he would also enter the business world. Thus, by selling the Rolex watches that he bought from his first salary from MLB, he started his investment firm, A-Rod Corp. It’s been almost three decades now, and he hasn’t stopped yet.

He had faced and still faces many difficulties but never stopped. Similar to how he continued giving his best in baseball until he earned his first and only World Series trophy. And now, he owns a billion-dollar worth company. Also, he is a part owner of NBA and WNBA teams and has investments in countless ventures.
