Just like Derek Jeter, the current NYY captain Aaron Judge is also known for his calm and composed attitude. But not this time.

The New York Yankees have gotten off to a rather shaky start this year. A few days back, they were also sitting at the bottom of the AL East. Undoubtedly, the AL East is the most competitive division across the two leagues. And finally, the Pinstripes offense has started showing up, and the Yanks have started their climb back to the top of the AL East. However, amidst this, as the Yankees registered a win over the Blue Jays, Judge’s eyes became a subject of conversation and controversy.

During the first game of the series, before smashing a massive home run, Aaron Judge’s eyes wavered toward his dugout, and the Blue Jays broadcasters almost alleged Judge of cheating, which the Yankees captain didn’t take lightly.

Aaron Judge was not happy with the Blue Jays broadcaster’s insinuation

Despite being someone who wouldn’t usually respond to such statements, the 2022 AL MVP wasn’t silent this time. He fired back at the Jays’ broadcasting team after the game and admitted that he wasn’t happy about it either.

As reported by Bryan Hoch, “Aaron Judge said that he has some ‘choice words about’ about the Blue Jays broadcasters insinuating that he was cheating. He declined to share them.”

Judge said, “I’m not happy about it, but people can say what they want. I’ve still got a game to play. I’ve got things to do.”

This series is turning out to be much more chaotic than expected

With Yankees skipper Aaron Boone’s ejection in game one, followed by Aaron Judge’s side-eye and the broadcasters cheating allegations, complemented by Domingo German’s poor judgment call, and Blue Jays manager John Schneider’s allegations, this series is becoming much more chaotic than one would’ve thought.

If this tension continues across the final two games of the series, the clearing of benches will be inevitable.
