It has been a strong season for the New York Yankees’ captain Aaron Judge. The reigning AL MVP missed many crucial games because of his injury. Though the Yankees captain made a brilliant return on the plate and the field contributed to many wins, another injury has put him out of the playing. The Pinstripes star injured his toe while taking a catch against the Dodgers. Everyone thought it was a minor injury but later found it a ligament tear. Most recently, the Yankees captain gave a confident update on his return to the season.

Given these injuries could even take more months to heal, many thought the 31-year-old could miss out on the rest of the season. If it is the case, it could severely hamper the Yankees. But the Aaron Judge’s latest statement proves it all that it won’t be the case.

Amidst all the negativity, Aaron Judge has shared his thoughts surrounding his injury. The Score shared this update with the caption, “Despite his ongoing battle with injury, Aaron Judge has no doubt he’ll return this season.” And Judge’s statement is the intriguing answer to what Yankees fans have been yearning for.

They further quoted Judge, “THAT’S OBVIOUS, I EXPECT TO BE BACK. I’M GOING TO DO EVERYTHING I CAN TO PUT MYSELF IN THAT POSITION.” The comments from Judge come when the Yankees have struggled in his absence. Scoring runs has been problematic for the team, resulting in their failure to win games. The team also lacked Judge’s leadership qualities, one reason for their success during the season.

Now, all eyes would be on the Judge who is working hard to make a return from the injury and add more to his solid scoring record of this season.

Aaron Judge ranks sixth in AL home runs despite three-week hiatus!

Even though Judge has not played many games, the 31-year-old still impacted the team. In 49 appearances of the season, Judge scored 42 runs and recorded 40 RBIs at an average of 0.291. He also scored 19 home runs and had an OPS of 1.078 with a WAR of 2.4. With these, the Yankees captain is still sixth on the home run list of the league, even after not playing for over three weeks.
