“I Went Into Hiding”: Derek Jeter’s Wife Hannah Jeter Once Revealed How a Harsh Pregnancy Reality Turned Her World Around

MLB great Derek Jeter had a long, storied career in baseball. While shining the brightest in the game, Jeter also tried to find the woman with whom he wanted to spend the rest of his life. Little did he know that while attending a party with his friends in a New York restaurant, he’ll find his better half. Notably, the former New York Yankees captain met his wife, Hannah Jeter(formerly Davis) through a mutual friend in 2012. They started dating shortly after and got married a couple of years later. Since then, the duo has become parents to three beautiful daughters. 

Like any other parent in the world, Hannah and Derek’s life changed a lot after they had their first daughter. However, it was a bit more difficult for the supermodel because while pregnant with their first daughter; she gained 70 pounds. And it wasn’t easy at all to jump back into shape. Thereby wanting her to go into hiding.

Four years ago, in 2019, during an interview with Editorialist Magazine, the Swimsuit SI model spoke about her pregnancy and the challenges that came with it. Her not being able to back to her supermodel body like other models was indeed one of the topics of conversation.

“I went into hiding. No one really saw me, but I have pictures.. . I always thought, you know, I’m going to have kids and go right back to work and pop back into shape, and it’s not that easy,” said the supermodel.

Things don’t always go according to plans. And Jeter’s pregnancies are a perfect example. Her second pregnancy was not much different. However, contrary to the first one, she gained 15 pounds less than before.

Hannah and Derek Jeter’s third daughter came as a surprise to many

In December 2021, Jeter’s media firm, The Player’s Tribune, revealed that the couple had welcomed another girl into the world. Although fans were happy for the couple, they were surprised at the same time. It was because a couple of months ago, the supermodel was seen at her husband’s Hall of Fame ceremony with her daughters, Bella and Story. However, she did not look pregnant during the ceremony.

Therefore, making the fans believe that the Jeters must have welcomed their third child via surrogacy. The couple, who always wants to keep their life as private as possible, was undoubtedly successful in hiding this news from the world.
