Some athletes become a league of their own. And former San Francisco Giants legend Barry Bonds is one of them. Bonds played for over a decade, wherein he entertained everyone from the plate, made and broke many records, and won multiple awards. Even after this, he could not be inducted in the Baseball Hall of Fame because of the PED accusations. Given that it is an offense, Bonds has always denied it. Recently, he added another explanation to prove his innocence.

Bonds have consistently denied using PEDs. He has also won his case in court, proving his innocence. Even after all the clearances, Bonds continue to be out of the Hall of Fame. It has hurt Bonds, making him feel vindicated in his sport. Bonds opined similarly during his appearances on the @HwoodSwingin.
Jerry Hairston, Jr. shared a clip on his Twitter handle, captioning, “Barry Bonds shares his feelings about not being in the Hall of Fame.” Interestingly, Bonds’ comments have come after the support he got from former MLB stars.
In the video, Bonds shares,” People have to understand something is that the fact of is that I was vindicated, I went to the court, I was in federal court, and I won my case, 100 percent. Where is the vindication of me in my own sport?” Pete Rose, one of the 17 all-star teams, added his weight behind inclusion.

He said, “If Barry Bonds is not in the Hall of Fame, you shouldn’t have one, and if Roger Clemens is not in the Hall of Fame, you shouldn’t have one.”

Although controversies continue to affect the public image of Bonds, he is an ever-shining star on the baseball field. With an experience of over 2,900 games, he is one of the most experienced players on the field. He has been a class apart with over 2000 runs and 760 home runs. He won multiple NL MVPs and was also part of the All-Star team 14 times.
