He followed this routine while he was still playing baseball as a professional to prioritize his time.?In an interview with The New York Times Magazine, A-Rod said,?“I was in love with that structure. I had a list of my 10 things I had to do, and I would check it every night before I went to bed to see how many I?d done.?

Various research has also shown that writing stuff down before sleep helps the person to calm down. Which eventually helps in a good night’s sleep. It helps lower the stress levels and keeps the anxiety levels where they should be.?
The stuff we do just before bedtime determines how we are going to sleep. For example, screening just before sleeping delays sleepiness. It gets you more active and awake. Whereas writing stuff down before sleep will help in thoughts that are running through the mind to calm down, and have a good sleep.
