Currently, Aaron Judge is inarguably the best player in Major League Baseball. As things stand, he is on the pace to hit over 60 home runs in the 2022 MLB season. He will probably end up getting his first-ever American League MVP Award.
However, the New York Yankees slugger does not believe he is the best MLB player. What is more shocking is that he is now clarifying a statement that he gave a couple of days ago. Notably, during the series against the Houston Astros, Judge played a crucial knock in the fourth game to split the four-game series.

He smashed a walk-off three-run home run and won the game for the Pinstripes. And during the post-game interview with the YES Network, Judge claimed himself as the best player in Major league Baseball. However, in his recent interview, the Yankees slugger has come up with a clarification on his previous statement.
Aaron Judge does not consider himself the best MLB player
Per Yahoo Sports, Judge had said himself the best player after his heroics against the Astros in the fourth game. “When you’re the best player on the team, how can you not [be confident]?” Judge had said this in a post-game interview on Sunday.

However, Judge did not mean to declare himself the best player on the team. Instead, he wanted to say that he plays for the best baseball team on the planet. The Yankees slugger clarified this after the second game of the ongoing series against the Oakland Athletics.
“I was trying to say ‘when you are the best team on the planet,’ and I knew I messed it up,” Aaron Judge said on Tuesday. “What I said was when you’re the best team on planet. And I thought to myself I really messed that up. And then I tried to say something about the fans and that came out wrong too.”

2. Eugenio Suarez (108)
3. Aaron Judge (103)
4. Kyle Schwarber (102)

Well, even if he mistakenly said himself the best MLB player, no one would take any offense to his statement, as he has been one of the best performers this season.

Will Judge stay in the Bronx?
Whether Aaron Judge wants to stay in the Bronx or try a new adventure is totally up to him. But if he decides to leave the Yankees after the 2022 season, it will be hard for the Yankees fans to watch their talisman play for a different team.

Once Judge enters his free agency, he will be open to listening offers from every MLB side. Now, the pressure will be on the Yankees management to retain their marquee player. Else some teams will not mind spending an enormous sum on the 30-year-old star.
Where do you think Judge will play the 2023 season?
