Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez is one of the best players to grace the ballparks. Despite being a controversial personality, A-Rod has been a great ambassador of the game. If not for his PED case, A-Rod would have been in the same company as the other Yankees legends.
However, A-Rod’s one mistake cost him his image in baseball. And that will never change, regardless of how good a player he was. Having played for over 22 years of baseball the former New York Yankees star won it all in baseball, except for one thing, the Hall of Fame honor.

And A-Rod always regrets his mistake during the early phase of his professional career. Had he not gotten involved in the PEDs (Performance-enhancement drugs) usage, just like his Yankees teammate Derek Jeter, A-Rod would have also probably gotten his Hall of Fame induction. Leave Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez. Former San Francisco Giants star Barry Bonds—who holds the record to hit most home runs in MLB history—could not get the Hall of Fame induction in his last year of eligibility this season. Instead, the Boston Red Sox legend David Ortiz received the honor from Major League Baseball.

Barry Bonds did not get the Hall of Fame induction for his involvement with PEDs during his professional career, the same reason A-Rod’ received a two-year ban from MLB. So it is difficult for the former Yankees to even think about getting the honor.

“You are asking the wrong person. Of course, I want them to get in,” A-Rod said. “Because that would mean that I have an opportunity to get in one day… I pray every day that I get a chance to get in. The Hall of Fame is the ultimate place…”
