Being a Major League Baseball player comes with a lot of responsibilities. But with those responsibilities also come countless perks such as fame, handsome salary, luxurious travel, fans’ support, endorsement opportunities, and retirement benefits. Every athlete chooses to spend their salary in a way they think to be best.
Hence, while saving, some athletes choose to spend it by gifting themselves some luxurious items. And that might be the case with San Diego Padres’ star player Fernando Tatis Jr.
Most recently, ahead of their game, a few stars of the Padres organization stood for an interview. There, they got asked about the number of a certain luxurious accessory they own. Notably, Tatis Jr. topped the list.

What does Fernando Tatis Jr. own more than any other team player?
BatBoys baseball posted a video asking several players of the Padres about how many chains they own. In the video, Tatis Jr. can be seen resting his left leg on his baseball bat and hands with yellow gloves on. Without missing a beat, Tatis Jr. said, “I own 8-10.” Notably, the answer given by him could shock anyone.
Furthermore, he added that he had worn all of them at once. “In DR, sometimes when you go out, you wanna go, look something crazy. It’s a good way to rock it.”

Later on, the other athletes who answered the same question were Jake Cronenworth with zero chains, Xander Bogaerts with two, Blake Snell also with two, and Juan Soto with 3-4. Seems like Tatis Jr. is the only one who would go to peaks in order to do or look crazy.

How is Tatis Jr. playing this season?
Fernando Tatis Jr. had come off of an 80-game suspension that he got last year for the usage of anabolic steroids. Notably, the athlete is facing criticism and heckling from the fans during the games. However, once the face of the Padres organization, Tatis Jr. is not letting the criticism by baseball fans affect his play.
Hence, in 133 at-bats, the athlete has hit eight home runs. But this number is subject to change as he, right now, has already hit a homer against the Yankees in their second game of the series.
