When did David Ortiz meet Jennifer Lopez?

Jennifer Lopez started dating the Big Papi’s on-field rival, Alex Rodriguez in 2017. Therefore, it was common for A-Rod to bring her on the sets of Fox’s show.?

However, Ortiz told The Post Game that he had met JLo years before A-Rod started to see her.

He said to TPG,?“I met her before. I met her before when she was dating my boy, Ben Affleck. That?s when I first met her.”? So, it can be said clearly that Big Papi knew and met Jennifer Lopez years before his on-field rival Alex Rodriguez and the actress started dating.

Ortiz’s interview with TPG took place when JLo and A-Rod were still dating. Therefore, Ortiz got asked if JLo was a Red Sox fan.

To this, the Big Papi had a hilarious reply,?“Yup. She might be a fan of New York and Boston at the same time!”

Later on, Ortiz talked about if he watched football or if he could play it. To this, the former designated hitter replied that he probably could.?

When did Ortiz get inducted into the Hall of Fame?

Saying that this year is pretty lucky for the athlete would not be wrong. Considering that this year, in July 2022, he got inducted into the Hall of Fame.?
