In the competitive sphere, there is always one winner. But, sometimes, it’s a win-win moment for the competitors. And that brings beauty to the game. Baseball, a distinct sport, often brings such incidents into the picture, where everyone involved gets a taste of winning. And when it happens, no one wants to disturb the space and return with some regrets. But the New York Mets star Pete Alonso could not maintain it.
Although Alonso participated in the team’s recent win, he also made a terrible blunder. It happened after his action ruined a memorable moment for his St Louis Cardinals counterpart, which Alonso later regretted. Furthermore, it only added more problems to the Mets’ poor season.

It was the fifth inning of the contest between the Mets and the Cardinals. And the Cardinals’ young shortstop, Masyn Winn, was at bat in the first game of his MLB career. Like any other player, it was an opportunity for him to make his first hit and he did exactly that. But the ball, possibly which he was going to have as a memory, Alonso threw into the stands. It was an unbelievable response from an experienced player. Talkin’ Baseball shared about it on their Instagram and captioned it, “No way.”
