Barry Bonds Refuses to Share His Feelings about the Hall of Fame Voting Process

Though this 7xMVP is a controversial character, it is undeniable that he was one of the best baseball players of all time. Bonds having the dream of entering the Hall of Fame is not shocking, but unfortunately, he was rejected every time. Ken Goldin, during his unfiltered interview with this baseball legend, brought the topic, and Bonds initially tried to avoid that topic, saying he didn’t want to be a media topic for a story.?

The former San Francisco Giants Star is famous for his statements, but during this interview, he clearly said he did not want to be a headline for any reporter; later, about his desire to win the Hall of Fame, he replied, ?I?m an open book. I don?t really care.? Also, he added, ?let them make a decision, I don?t need to make a comment. I?m not going to make a comment. Whatever they choose is just a decision they make.?

In that interview, Bonds clarified that he wouldn’t get involved in this controversial matter with any comment. He even mentioned he is out of all these; he is tired of it. The MLB star even mentioned he is exhausted by the negativity and pressures the media created on him. He concluded his part of the answer, saying,?“…so when that day comes, you will know the answer because they’ll give it to you.”

In 2013, per the Bleacher Report, this legendary hitter began his journey to enter the HoF. While the criteria was 75% votes, Bonds received only 36.2%. After this massive failure, gradually, more fans came to vote for their legend over the years.

After almost a decade, in 2022, this controversial MLB star received the highest votes, 66%. It is indeed the highest percentage he received, but still, he was short of 9% votes. The next time, fans will see this 7x MVP appearing for this voting in 2026.?
