After Jennifer Lopez launched Delola, there were many questioning whether actually she drinks alcohol or not. Some have even tried to make it seem that she was wrong for selling alcohol if she doesn’t drink it. But the pop icon took to Instagram and shut down all doubters in a video. JLo confirmed that she does indeed enjoy the occasional cocktail and that she drinks responsibly. Although she was off drinking for a few years, she now enjoys it with friends and family during social situations. 

In the video, Lopez said, “I know that a lot of people have been talking about like, ‘Oh she doesn’t even drink, what’s she doing with a cocktail line?’ To tell you the truth, that was true for a long time, I didn’t drink. A few years back, as you will see from several photos of me. Over the past 10,15 years, I have been, you know, having the occasional cocktail. I do enjoy the occasional cocktail, I do drink responsibly, I don’t drink to get sh*tfaced. I drink to be social and have a nice time.”
