“I Didn’t Have Any Preconceptions About Who He Was” – Supermodel Hannah Jeter Makes Bold Statement on Meeting NY Yankees Legend Derek Jeter ‘At the Right Time’

The Supermodel, Hannah Jeter, once revealed that she didn’t have any idea about Derek Jeter’s reputation. Both of them just had a chance to meet through a mutual friend. They met while Hannah was having dinner with her mother in New York. 

Hannah Jeter (previously known as Hannah Davis) is much more than simply being the wife of a baseball legend. A supermodel and television show host, Hannah boasts a successful career of her own. She has traveled cross-country and abroad for professional reasons, before meeting Derek Jeter. She has done modeling assignments at various serene destinations. 

Hannah Jeter described having no idea about Derek Jeter’s larger-than-life presence on the baseball field. Hannah moved to New York City, about two years before meeting Derek. She mentioned having seen a few Derek Jeter jerseys, but she couldn’t connect. Since Hannah was born and grew up on the Virgin Islands at St. Thomas, where baseball has no obsessive following. 

Derek and Hannah Jeter: The first meet 

Derek and Hannah are a quiet pair, who usually don’t disclose much of their private life to the public. Despite being a celebrity couple, the two live a low-key life, avoiding media attention for the most part. They met for the first time in the year 2012. Derek confirmed it was a mutual friend who introduced both of them at a restaurant in New York. 

When they first met, Hannah was having dinner with her mom and didn’t know of Derek’s professional background. Hannah wrote in a post in The Players’ Tribune describing, “Derek and I met during the off-season, and I think that was a lucky break. It let us spend some time together away from New York. I didn’t have any preconceptions about who he was, and I didn’t need much more to go on than this: I had met the nicest guy, and I wanted to get to know him on my own terms. Not Google’s.” 

Praising the perfect nature of their relationship, Hannah further added, “We met at the right time. To me, what matters in a relationship is being at the same place in your lives. And right from the start, I could tell that the timing of Derek’s life and mine were aligned.”

Derek and Hannah were first spotted together at a New York Club in the year 2012. Followed by a dinner date at a restaurant in Florida. But the both of them completely hid their romance for the next two years. They were rarely seen making any public appearances during that time frame. 

From lovers to a married couple with a happy family 

While promoting the Ice Bucket Challenge in the year 2014, Derek Jeter mentioned his love relationship with Hannah Davis. The iconic baseball legend also challenged the supermodel to participate in the fun activity. In the year 2015, Derek and Hannah publicly announced their engagement and married the next year. The pair have given birth to three daughters and live an old-school life, away from the technological domain.
