Babe Ruth was as big a name in the baseball world when the late singer Tina Turner, was hot in the music industry. Both the legends of their respective fields now reside in heaven in the arms of the angels. If these two legends weren’t born 50 years apart, Turner somehow would have managed to have an impact on the legendary Yankee, Babe Ruth. 

Turner’s voice was her power, and her determination to revolutionize the rock n roll industry had made her the idol of countless people. The iconic singer had won almost every possible award there was to win for any singer, making people fall even more in love with her. Then, four decades after her being in the music industry, she could have played a crucial role in a legacy that The Great Bambino, Babe Ruth, left behind in the ballpark for upcoming generations to follow through.

Turner and Ruth were born 50 years apart, there was no way the singer could have affected one of the best MLB players. But that does not stop one from wondering what an amazing perfection it would be if one of the songs of the Queen of Rock’ n’ Roll were a walk-up song of Babe Ruth.

A few years back, Bleacher Report suggested entry songs that would be perfect for some athletes. Notably, one of those athletes would be the New York Yankees legend, Babe Ruth. And the song that would have been perfect for him would be Turner’s Simply the Best


Walk-up songs are generally chosen by the players and do have a certain trend. Therefore, Turner’s album would have changed that mold. It’s because the album has a range of emotions which could’ve fit perfectly to certain situations. However, Ruth was already retired when Turner was born and had gone to heaven decades before this album was released. Therefore, what could have been perfect for Babe Ruth could not happen.

Queen of Rock’ n’ Roll wasn’t only a singer!

Tina Turner, by every means, wasn’t a singer but a force of nature. She had the ability to turn things around for the better. She became the first singer to have a major impact on Rock n Roll. But she also suffered through domestic violence and came back stronger than ever. 

Now, at the age of 83, she breathed her last with her family by her side at her home in Switzerland.
