This year, as two underdog teams face each other, the Rangers have taken the first game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Despite two unexpected teams fighting for the world title, fans still gathered in hoards to witness the spectacle.

Days ahead of the opener, the World Series fever was high. Ticket buyers found the price fluctuating but after witnessing the miracle of Adolis Garcia in the first, the second game will likely see the stands filled with spectators. Prices for Oct. 28 are similar to game 1, with standing-room-only tickets starting at $497 and seats starting at $758 at the time of writing, per TickPick.
Game 1 had already hyped the prices when a $300 ticket originally sold for an average of $1200 as Friday inched closer. For Game 2, Vivid Seats prices will range from $388 to 3,915. The teams that made it to the finals may be unexpected but the prices are as high as ever.
?10:14 a.m. sold tickets out on the Texas Rangers’ website, with prices ranging from $250 to $600. Now, you’re sure to see these tickets on resale sites for hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars,? writes CBS News. A lot depends on how the game unfurls but it’s likely that when the series moves to Chase Field in Arizona, spectators will still have to empty their pockets equally. 2023 is an interesting year because two unlikely teams have made it to the top. While the Rangers consistently maintained their position at the top of the AL West, the Diamondbacks just have 84 regular season wins. An anomaly is there ever was one, and many are critical. Nevertheless, if one wants to watch the game, they will have to pay the somewhat exorbitant prices for not just entry into Globe Life Field but also the food.
Per The Dallas Morning News, a set of three six-foot sandwiches, starting with a 2-foot-long lobster roll topped with beef tenderloin, can be bought for $250.The other two options include?the ?Boomstick Burger? and the ?Boomstick Hot Dog.?
