“How Dare You?” – Absurd Move From a New York Mets’ Fan Infuriates Baseball World to Their Core

A few years ago, a joyful moment at a New York Mets game turned sour. A fan caught a foul ball, a cherished tradition in baseball while holding her baby girl. They were thrilled, but another fan tried to take away their joy, leading to a fight in the stands.

Recently, a reporter shared a clip of this incident. The video showed the mother and daughter’s happiness quickly changing into distress as the iconic moment turned into an upsetting story.

Mysterious figure sparked mother’s fury

Just as the mother and her toddler were living their moment, being happy with the baseball, another fan came and stole the ball from the hands of the baby girl. Needless to say, the mother was enraged over the same and was not going to let this happen to her daughter.

Hence, in the video posted by Paul of the Babble Bronx, the lady is continuously shouting at the man, saying, “GIVE HER THE BALL! NOW! GIVE HER THE BALL….(proceeded to take the ball from the said Mets fan), STOP! THAT’S WRONG! HOW DARE YOU?” 

Eventually, the fan took another baseball from his pouch and offered it to the lady. Couldn’t begin to fathom what had just happened. The woman finally stepped aside from the situation. Soon as the clip of this exchange went up on Twitter, it became viral, making the baseball world ferocious on the man for stealing the baseball from the little girl. And it once again went viral when Paul brought the video of the entire scene in front of fans through Twitter.

Baseball fans could not believe what happened at Chase Field

Soon after the video went viral, fans recognized the person who stole the foul ball from the girl. It was none other than Joe Gatto, one of the hosts of the famous reality show Impractical Jokers. Fans realized Gatto stealing the ball from the girl was a prank. And the woman in question did not recognize the celebrity. Hence, she couldn’t help herself from lashing out as he took joy from her daughter. The punishment that Gatto had to endure seemed even worse for him.
