Consequently, after four straight losses, and getting absolutely dominated by the Houston Astros, at home and away, the Yanks suffered one of the most humiliating losses in the American League Championship Series. On the other hand, the Astros continued their 2022 streak of postseason clean sweeps, after walking past the Mariners in the Division Series.
