Endorsements and partnerships with brands are some of the ways that MLB players make money off the field. Shohei Ohtani is one of the most in-demand baseball stars at the moment. In fact, he is earning the most endorsement money this year and by a sizeable margin. Most recently, Ohtani showed off his physique while working with one of the brands he endorses. 

The Los Angeles Angels two-way star works hard to stay in shape and play his best baseball. That has come into play with his endorsement deals and other work. In his most recent appearance, he flexed his physique.

Shohei Ohtani will earn $35 million in endorsements this year, taking first place. There is a seismic gap between him and Aaron Judge, who is second. Most recently, Ohtani showed off his physique in a jaw-dropping moment while doing promo work for Kose. He has an endorsement deal with them and flexed his muscles while being photographed for advertisements and other promo material.

This comes just hours after his viral Funyuns picture came to light. 

Kose Singapore shared a video of Ohtani doing a variety of poses. Furthermore, he even shared a message and talked about the dangers of UV rays. Kose has a variety of products that are extremely popular in Japan among other countries.

Ohtani has been playing well this season. Earlier this month he went through a slump but was able to overcome it and a teammate shared the secret behind it. Since then, he has been back to his usual self and playing some top-level baseball. He recently joined an Angels legend with his epic pitching through the games that he has pitched thus far.

Ohtani joins Nolan Ryan in achieving a legendary feat

During his latest start, Shohei Ohtani reached the 80-strikeout mark. By doing so, he became the first pitcher to reach 80 or more strikeouts in their first 10 appearances of a season since Nolan Ryan in 1978.

The Angels legend picked up 97 strikeouts in his first 10 appearances of ‘78. This is a massive achievement for the two-way star as he continues to push the boundaries of what is possible.
