Entering the season as one of the favorite contenders, the Astros proved the surrounding craze. From registering 100 wins, winning the zonal crown, and remaining unbeaten in playoffs to the eventual championship, they have done it all. But the Astros managed to do so with precision.
Therefore, they have moved on from the 2017-related controversies and earned the fans’ respect. On that note, the Astros fans are overly excited about getting a chance to meet their heroes. The long queues made by the fans overnight have gained a lot of media attention. So much so to the point that people have reacted to the news on social media outlets.
The Houston Astros’ fan craze touches new heights?
The Astros are now the talk of the town in MLB, especially in Houston. Famous sporting goods store brand Academy Sports + Outdoors announced plans to host three free meet-and-greet events in the Houston area. All three events will be at different locations with three individual players. The three champion players will thus sign autographs, take photos and also talk to fans from a close range.
Kyle Tucker already met fans at the Academy location in the Bunker Hill Area on Wednesday. Alex Bregman’s meet with his fans got scheduled from 6 to 7:30 PM at the Academy in Meyerland on Thursday. While Jose Altuve will meet his fans from 7 to 8:30 PM at the Academy in Pasadena. Whereas, Yordan Alvarez and Cristian Javier met fans at Dick’s Sporting Goods locations on Wednesday. The fans were already camping outside the stores overnight.?

Background information about the event rules
There were no certain limitations on how many people would be getting to meet the players. But the players will only sign autograph cards and no other merchandise. Autograph passes will get handed out to fans one hour prior to the event start time.?
