It’s another terrible outing for the New York Yankees. The Aaron Boone-led side has been in hot water for most of the 2023 season, maintaining third posting in the AL East standings. Repeated fan requests for a change in office seem to have fallen on deaf ears as the funk continues. In fact, Hal Steinbrenner stands in solidarity with Aaron Boone and Brian Cashman, supporting their decisions. Fans would much rather have it otherwise because the situation doesn’t seem to be improving.

After winning just one game against the Seattle Mariners, the Yankees went right back to more losses. And frustrated fans noticed something strange in the dugout at the last game.

Bronx fans have been reiterating for years that the current team is not one that can make it to the World Series. Yet, the front office insists that this roster is of championship caliber if only everyone pulled up their performance. While playing in the spotlight brings unimaginable pressure, the Bronx Bombers seem to be crumbling under it currently.

As the Mariners emerged victorious with an overwhelming 10-2, the Yankees dugout could be seen reflecting the tension. Talkin’ Yanks posted a clip from the game that shows the pinstriped players with tense expressions or their heads in their hands.

The video shows Anthony Volpe, DJ LeMahieu, Aaron Judge, Gleyber Torres, and Isiah Kiner-Falefa looking down in the dumps with no conversation happening. The usually lively dugout seems to be observing the downhill trajectory of their team in despair.

But even though the Yankees may be sad, fans are enraged.

Yankees fans didn’t want to be present at the game

With boos and shouts of disappointment, Yankee fans always let the team know how they’re feeling. The last game was no different, as fans demanded refunds for their tickets.

Endless mockery ensued.

Some felt bad for Judge, who has been carrying the team forward as the captain. But in his absence, the remaining players have failed to up their game. Some thought Judge should have signed with the Giants in his free agency, who offered him an equally lucrative contract.
